چکیده
Accurate extraction of river network from the Digital Elevation Model (DEM) is a significant content in application distributed hydrological model. However, study based on DEM has some limitations, such as location offset, inaccurate parallel channel and short circuit meandering channels. In this study, we proposed new enhancement method for NASADEM V001 Danjiangkou Reservoir area. We used Surface Water Occurrence (SWO) Sentinel-2 data to describe vertical limit differences between morphological units complement actual flow path information by stream burning method. The extracted were evaluated three different geographical regions. Compared with centerline, error was significantly reduced. average offset distances 68.38, 36.99, 21.59 m test areas. V001, areas reduced 7.26, 40.29, 42.35%, respectively. To better estimate accuracy, also calculated compared accuracy MERIT Hrdro HydroSHEDS. experimental results demonstrated that can effectively improve meet needs simulation.

The Terrain Resources Inventory Mapping (TRIM) data standard in BC, Canada, includes speci cations for river data and elevation data that are typically met by interpretation of stereo orthophotos. It does not specify that breaklines for watersheds be interpreted from the photos, thus we must extract them from the data. We seek a system of watersheds that, while not exact due to errors in the da...

[1] Workshops to identify transboundary and basin-wide environmental issues and a diagnostic study by consultants identified priority environmental concerns of resource managers in the lower Mekong River basin. The issues identified, in priority order, were water quality, reduction in dry season flows, sedimentation, fisheries decline, wetland degradation, and flooding. An analysis of the avail...

15 صفحه اولAn Automated Approach to Extracting River Bank Locations from Aerial Imagery Using Image Texture
A fundamental challenge in river analysis and modelling is the lack of readily available and reliable information on river bank geometry. Traditional survey methods are expensive and time consuming and often difficult to execute in many river systems because of hazardous terrain or lack of access. However, as high quality aerial and satellite imagery becomes available for more of the globe, it ...
